The conference league formation was equally changed along side the champions league and the europa league and this time, it is set to be played just like the way it is played in the regular league.
The new rule is clearly saying that there will be no direct group stage but it will be played in a way that each team will have the opportunity to play against 8 different teams and you will not be able to play against a team from your league.
